aw no...
however did you get that idea?
Look, Queezle.
i'd say...deathly hallows. :D
I'd say both. PG's ending seems to be more dramatic though.

Ptolemy's Gate.

It's like comparing Inheritance to LOTR.

I prefer Ptolemy's Gate. It had a nice ending without messing things up. It left a bit to the reader's immagination, while DH sort of just... I dunno, put it all out there without much thought. I liked Snape's death a lot more than Harry's, if that counts. Didn't like him much 'till he died. Oh well.
Closure. I hate closure. Stories with drawn out endings kick puppies. Stroud did it well, though. I'm glad, because most books I've read start out brilliantly, then end horribly. It ruins the lasting impression.
Near the end of reading DH, which had to be around 6AM, I was a little bit tired. I don't remember much. I should read it again. My friends are bullying me into reading Twilight, though. Agh. Afterwards, I guess.

I completely agree the ending of PG is better then DH, but I prefer DH as a book.

Mmmm... steak? I'll enjoy that last few minutes of my life? Is that what's happening?
Actually, I stayed up until 3AM reading it. I feel horrible. I've forgotten what it's like to read a book that I haven't read before. I'm going to be so tired on Monday. D:

haha, I did that with HP6&7.
I like both endings, but I actually like 7 more, because it had far more to do and to tie up, and did it very well.

Yeah. I actaully like Goblet of Fire the best the first time around, though. My first all-nighter. It was over Christmas holidays, so it wasn't too bad, but I was sooo tired after that. DH was the only one that I bought the minute it came out, though. My friends thought I was such a nerd.

How dare they! How can they call you a nerd for being a HP fan? If otherwise, it makes complete sense. Don't worry Kieru, you have my support.

I bought HBP at like 12:15 or something, but DH had to wait, I was strapped for cash.

I didn't have enough to buy HBP right away. I still made it to hardcover, though. 1-5 of mine aren't hardcover. D:
I love the Ptolemy's Gate hardcover, 'cause it looks really nice without the paper-cover-thing... Yeah. <3

I just take the covers off.
I still have them, but I prefer them without.

Yeah. The insides sometimes get dirty, but the shinyness came off of my paperback books 1 and 2... D: I lent them to friends and the covers got messed up.

I have them all in hardback although I couldn't find PG until a friend returned it a few days ago.... :P

Back on topic ... I preferred PG even though the ending was sad....I think Harry or Ginny should have died in order for DH to be good... :P
I don't think so. If either of them died, the other would suffer a lot. Not to mention Ron & Hermione. Don't you think they have suffered enough? Fred's death was bad enough, who wants more? DH could have been loads better had the final fight between Voldy & Harry lasted long & remained action-packed.
