No. Kitty needed to win Bart's trust. Remember, she had summoned Bart earlier to discuss her plan and he rejected it. He would have never helped them defeat the spirits if Kitty didn't go to OP to show that she trusted him. It was the gesture that counted. By just summoning him, she wouldn't have won his respect and love.
And also, it would be stupid of Nat/Kitty to summon Bart into their bodies without winning over him. While we know Bart and believe it is unlikely that he would have destroyed their minds (as he wouldn't want to be stuck there for eternity), Nat and Kitty didn't know it and wouldn't risk it either. Also, Bart might have never helped them in spite of them summoning him into either of their body.
Also, Bart was very weak to directly help them.
