Nah, those types of showdowns are better for movies, not books. It'd be very difficult to accurately describe a combat between 2 gigantic demons.

Ramuthra. The whole bending of reality kinda decided it for me.
Yeah, with Ramurtha, it specifically states that as it was picking up humans to eat (and Lovelace), that they changed form several times before entering its mouth. Nowhere does it mention this with Nouda. Nor are fellow demons being killed near Nouda, or is magic being effected (remember that the book states that the barricades in the room (book one) could not be broken due to Ramurtha's prescence). Combined with the fact that Barti clearly places Ramurtha as far above marids, wheras he only mentions that Nouda *might* be stronger than a marid, is proof that Ramurtha is actually the stronger of the two.
Those are excellent points.
I wonder if Ramurtha or the AoS spirit is more powerful..though I think somewhere in the book it was said they were equal but opposite.
"You belong in Gryffindor,
where dwell the brave at heart,
Their daring, nerve and chivalry
set Gryffindors apart."
That brings up another question :P. how did the magicians (Lovelace in particular) know that the AoS was an equal and opposite force? Imagine going through all that work to find out its slightly weaker  , seems like a large risk.
My theory:
The history of it, and the rank of the demon, was probably in a book somewhere as was probably the rank and history of Ramuthra. (Though since Ramuthra had only been summoned a few times this must have been rather short.)
Awful theory, actually.
"You belong in Gryffindor,
where dwell the brave at heart,
Their daring, nerve and chivalry
set Gryffindors apart."
Hm, where did the original knowledge come from though? I could understand it if a few isolated people had discovered the existence of demons, but then how would they know the rankings? From books written down of all demons summoned, though it implies that this was the first time Ramurtha was summoned.... so its leaving me mystified <_<
I think Ramuthra could handled the golem, but not Naoda, too weak.
I think either of them could have taken out the golem. Sure, the golem's strong, and it nullifies most magic, but I can imagine both of them literally ripping it apart. They would suffer wounds, but I think Nouda would have destroyed it in the end.
With Ramurtha, I dont think its even a question  , I can see the golem being changed into a doll due to the effects of Ramurtha on Space in general.
I chose Ramuthra because of that whole shaking ground thing. I live in the Ring of Fire. There are lots of earthquakes. So all that chaos he created (or Lovelace?) is something.
Edit: Those earthquakes are only about 2-3 on the Richter scale. The last big ones were in San Francisco, or about baseball?

The golem would absorb all Naodas powers, but with Ramuthra... I can't imagine anything who has effect on him/her.
Atlas was the one who held up the building.

Ramuthera was a whole new entity, she had not been summoned before. And that is anther reason she would be more powerful. The restrictions of Earth would have had less time to weaken her. Like Bart said, he was most powerful when he was first summoned.
Woudn't Nouda be more powerful? Because Makepeace wanted him, and Makepeace is, to say the least, ambitious...
Of course, Nouda didn't really disrupt the elements. But he had a huge history...
And, it took Gladstone's staff, past its controllable state, to get rid of him.
Look, Queezle.
Makepeace couldn't, it took 4-5 powerful magicians to summon Ramuthra, plus a horn.

maybe ramuthra was more powerful the first time she was summoned, but after that i think nouda was more powerful.
Look, Queezle.
Why would Ramuthra lose power by staying in this world for less than an hour?
I wish I were a cat-dragon
Because he would.
Okay....Okay. Well, if he was using really powerful spells, it would use up a lot of his esscence, and that would go down...Which causes him to feel the effects of Earth more, kinda like Bart at the end of his endless summoning with Nat.
Which brings me to a question. Why didn't Nat just use a summoning horn? If Ramuthra was more powerfull, wouldn't it get rid of Nouda? There was bound to be one somewhere in the government building. Maybe that's why Nouda's so powerful...
Look, Queezle.
A summoning horn is for summoning. For dismissing, all you need are the proper incantations.
Using powers would not destroy your essence, just make you tired. And Ramuthra's so powerful that using a Detonation would not make him a bit out of breath.
