Man, way to make us all feel old.
Still Ramuthra, though.

Here's a somewhat related question: When Nouda was summoned, he seemed to know of Faquarl's plan.... but when did Faquarl and Nouda have the opportunity to talk? Once Faquarl had been summoned into Hopkins, he was stuck on Earth.
I assume they used other spirits as messengers.

But could Faquarl-in-Hopkins have summoned Nouda by himself? Kitty says that all you need is a pentacle, the correct words and some ingredients. Theoretically, Faquarl could avt just like any ordinary magician and with his knowledge of spirits and summoning it wouldn't have been too difficult I imagine.

For that matter, could ANY spirit summon another spirit?
It's been 10 years since I came here. Had to re-register cos I don't remember my username or password. I feel such a sense of nostalgia on visiting these forms. Good times weren't they?
Anyway I originally voted for Ramuthra but now I wonder, wouldn't Stroud keep his strongest demon for the last?
This is a confusing topic. Originally, I thought Ramuthra was stronger because it took 4 magicians to summon him, whereas Nouda was summoned by one magician; Quentin Makepeace. Also Bartimaeus states that Ramuthra was as strong as multiple Marids, whereas with Nouda he says that he was as strong as a Marid, if not stronger. From this, it seems pretty obvious that Ramuthra is stronger, but here comes the contradiction. The Amulet of Samarkand was used to defend against Ramuthra, and the author says that the Amulet is stronger than Ramuthra. But in the Third book, they state that the Amulet isn’t powerful enough to Repel Nouda. This is weird because it seems that Ramuthra is about twice as strong as Nouda, but the Amulet is stronger than Ramuthra, and not as strong as Nouda. I don’t know who is actually stronger. It may be from the fact that Nouda was feasting a lot on that day, which made him even stronger than Ramuthra. What do you guys think?
