A regular parliament member isn't necessarily average strength. Ramuthra was summoned by a group including two far-from-powerful magicians. Therefore Makepeace isn't necessarily four times as strong as a parliament member, just twice or thereabouts.

No control was required over Ramuthra, because Ramuthra was trapped, like I said. He was inside a pentacle at all times and the whole room was reinforced with magical barriers. All Lovelace had to do was summon him and sit tight with the amulet on. As soon as he lost the amulet he was eaten, thus he had no real control over Ramuthra.

Not by one normal magician. Besides, you don't really have to be that strong to destroy a city - just persistant.
He knew his strength, but he was wrong about thinking he could subdue Nouda because no spirit can be subdued when summoned like that - the same thing would have happened with a foliot - it's just too easy for the spirit to kill its host.

..This is a hard one. We dont know Noudas true strenght outside his body, But even inside it, Ramuthra sounded as strong as Hybrid nouda to me. :sentynel:

It implies Faqural and Nouda has something planned.

I think he had it planned during his time spent in the Other Place before he was bound to the body.

But so much of the plan relied on him being bound to a body. The idea was there, but the actual plan must have been communicated using messengers.

I think you're right. I wonder how he did it, as Bart said that as a djinn he didn't know much about summoning...

That's true. I always wondered, how did Farqual get someone to summon him into their body. Did he just have to wait fro someone to try it, or did he send some kind of message?

Well, he kind of pointed the magicians in the right direction. When Hopkins volunteered, they summoned Faqural.

I'm going for Ramuthra as well. It created a huge rift in its coming onto earth, and Bart mentions that it destroyed an entire island, causing tidal waves. This sounds a lot more impressive than Nouda walls of heads. I perfer total devastation. :D

Or he'd blow up...
How massive an explosion do you think Ramuthra and Nouda could cause?

The strenght of the staff of Gladstone was said by ol' bart himself to be least the strength of a couple marids, but seeing as how he had about ten seconds to look at it, it could easily be three. Comparing that, I'd maybe three-four times that of gladstones explosion. Ramuthra is definetly at least four marids' worth, with nouda maybe two. :wow:

I was just wondering. If you put Nouda, Ramurtha and Mr.Golem in a room all battleing it out who would come on top. Im not sure if someone already asked this but im to lazy to go and check through all the forums...:PPEACE OUT
you could probably make a whole new forum for that question.

It was luck for them that they were in different books. XD Three big big enemies in three books... They didn't have a chance to meet... Fortunately :D
