I will be very dissapointed if he is anywhere near the top 100, I hate virtualy everything he has ever written.

Yay!

While I like Vonnegut, I wasn't that big of a fan of Cat's Cradle.

Oh yes, The Rime of the Ancient Mariner is a wonderful poem. I love Lord Ullin's Daughter and the Solitary Reaper too. And the Palanquin Bearer. And any of Robert Frost's work.
And plays; well, Agatha Christie.

There. I found the random postings rather irritating, so I numbered them all. I kept a series as one book and I've also added the favourite books of some of the members. Please check the list before adding new books and number them too. But how we are going to reach a consensus, I don't know.
And, should we include short stories/comics too?

Short stories no, comics if they're long enough.

What about novellas?

Also, Where's My Cow and Carpe Jugulum are both Discworld books.

Okay, comics in. I added Sent's (Bone in 38th position in place of Carpe Jugulum). No short stories. Novellas are nice, so let us include them.
