The 2009 Film

Amulet Of Samarkand
Oh, I liked Nero's story. Its not as bad as he makes them out to be. Pretty good for a school-going guy.
Just reading the previous posts....
I completely agree with Datsyuk when he says Eragon & Eldest ought to be rewritten. Brisingr was good. Eragon & Eldest can be made loads better with superior writing. And yeah, thanks for welcoming me into the exclusive 1000 club. *Yahoo!*
Take a risk & read Eragon, Umbreo. Might seem bad at start, but persevere. And it would be better if you checked out on my gender.

You're a chick?
Wow.
Didn't see that one coming.
I've read the series.
Nice to know you agree.

I wasn't talking to you! I was telling Umbreo. And I know you have read the series & you do know I'm a girl.

Oh, did I say you were a guy? Sorry, I don't really look that closely at who I'm talking to sometimes. Anyway, I've already read the first couple of pages of Eragon and it didn't do anything for me. You say it gets better? I might give it another go when I can be bothered, but my expectations aren't that high.
When I set out from the boy's attic window, my head was so full of competing plans and complex strategems that I didn't look where I was going and flew straight into a chimney.

It really doesn't. Save yourself the pain.

"When I can be bothered" usually means never, but you never know, one day I might be bored out of my brains and resort to reading it . . .

You know what? No, no I will not read Eragon. Under any circumstanses. I will read Twilight before I read Paolini's book of death.

There is a certain amount of peer pressure I will take before cracking, you realise, but I wasn't really all for reading it in the first place after one reccomendation anyway. I was kind of happy to be convinced - if you know what I mean.

Nice sig.

For books, idc, I'll probably read something eventually regardless, so long as I remember it.

Not me. Never! I just read the 5th Artemis Fowl though & it's really good. So I have great expectations for the 6th.
Will there be Artemis Fowl movies? I hope.

We're really digressing from the topic, so (just to please Sent) do you think you would like the BT film? And is it really coming out in 2009?

I'm rereading some Jasper Fforde whilst waiting till this time next year to complain to miramax that the film hasn't come out like they promised.

Not sure if it's coming out in 2009, but we DO know that it will be directed by John Madden, produced by Sydney Pollack with a screenplay by Hossein Amini.
