The other one book was about the Arctic. Deception Point. I can never remember the name. But it's better, than DF

It'll be crap, the Religious heresy is the only thing Brown can do.

I've read Digital Fortress, and the characters were pretty annoying. Dan Brown should never do love scenes. On the whole I preferred Da Vinci Code though I can't bear the condescending tone in his books.
Nothing to see here, move along.

To be honest, I thought they were all crap. I was given them all, and read them all once, but then they've gone onto my shelf and never come back.

Angle and Demons is good... the first ime you read it. Code too.

I guess the Da Vinic code would've been good if I hadn't had such high expectations of it. So many people were making such a big fuss that I thought "Wow, this must be a really good book" and when I actually read it it disappointed me somewhat.

Failed to scale the hype? Yes.

A good read? Yes.

A 'Classic Work of Literature'? No.

So much hype around the books.

I really do believe that Angels and Demons would make a much better, action oriented movie then The Da Vinci Code. The Code was all very well as a book, but you'd have a hard time capturing it as a movie.

I'm not too sure about my opinion on how they changed the ending however.

Angels and Demons, would cause too much hype though, because seeing as The Da Vinci Code skips around the churches, Angel and Demons refers to a direct attack on the church.

I tried reading da vinci code, Couldnt get through it. Its just not my
type of book. Its intereresting to think about, but I dont understand
why so many people take it as fact. I think it is POSSIBLE, although
not likely, that jesus got married and had children. I have reasons for
thinking that, but I dont want to get into that, im too lazy.

harry potter-awesome

LOTR-awesome
Artemis fowl-Awesome (only read first 3 though)

Rangers apprentics-LOVED THIS BOOK, I highly recomend it.

Lost years of merlin-awesome, but not as awesome as the above books,

His dark materials-is this the one with the daemons or wahtever that

The Black Magician Trilogy contains three books, the Magician's Guild, Novice, and High Lord.

Priestess of the White is the start of a new trilogy, the Age of Five Trilogy.

They're all by Trudi Canavan, and they're all good.

Tamora Pierce got boring after a while, all her heroines are almost the same, just with different powers.

true but if you leave gaps between series it is quite good

...Do I have anything in common with you guys?

Anyone read From Here to Eternity? Paladin of Souls? A love story? Doctors? Acts of Faith? All very good reads, better than Barti or HDM... (Okay, different genre, but... bleh)
