Canadians can now smugly look down on our Southern neighbours again! It was no fun having a respectable black guy in the White House while we had Madame Tussaud's wax figure of the Pillsbury Doughboy in office. I'm enjoying this very much!. Besides, we're not American, so we can't do anything about it.

To be fair, I'm pretty sure that's just so he doesn't have to deal with the inevitable Brexit fallout. He'll be back.

Theresa May needed to stack her cabinet with Leave people to quell further discord within the party. Boris would have to be included somehow. I understand Foreign Secretary is an odd choice, given his history, but is there another position that would have suited him better?

Sorry, Sent. I mean "back trying to push his way into being Prime Minister" he is still technically there. From what I'd heard he wanted the Brexit vote to narrowly fail so Cameron would resign and he could try and get his job; but now that it's actually happened he doesn't want to be blamed for all the problems it's going to cause. But most of my political knowledge comes from CBC, podcasts, and the TVTropes forum, so I'm not exactly an expert.

That's pretty much the prevailing theory. I'm not sure if the idea was for Cameron to immediately resign, or just to position Boris neatly for when Cameron inevitably resigned towards the end of this term or so. At any rate, Boris really doesn't appear to have been that set on Leave, so I'm not sure that explains his ascension to Cabinet.

Technically, the Korean war never ended, since hostilities ended without a formal peace treaty. So yeah North Korea has been at "war" with the U.S. for over 60 years.
