Anyone with an ounce of sense and humanity wants to puke with that orange turd. He's been accused of rape three times and shows a frightening amount of parallels to Hitler.

Who wants to make an early prediction? Who will win the U.S. presidential race?

It's gonna be Trump.

Because of your recent experience with the Brexit vote Sent?

I think Trump will win too. D:
Oh, dear. Do all of you really think that? :( Who else is in the US and shall suffer Trump's presidency?

You know, in german there's this expression for sending someone away 'auf den Mond schiessen' which translates to 'shooting somebody to the moon'. I think in Trump's case, I'd prefer if we took it very literally.

Hoping for the best, but right now things are looking pretty bleak.
We Americans may soon be welcoming our new orange overlord.

Called it!
I'm so unbelievably angry right now. And I feel so powerless to do anything. *sigh*

So do I.
And as a woman and a POC, it's very disheartening to see how many people support Trump. I can't wrap my mind around it. How could someone with Hillary Clinton's qualifications lose to a racist Dorito?
I am so angry and sad at the same time.
I don't even live in the US and I keep oscillating between hope, sadness, and anger. I hang out on the TVTropes forums a fair bit, and the Americans who live there are terrified.

How did so many people decide to elect a man with no real policy to speak of, a KKK endorsement, and an audio recording where he admits to sexual assault?! I thought I was a realist, but this year I've had to face the fact that I don't understand the world anywhere near as well as I thought I did. :/

I'm in shock, honestly.
We all have reason to be afraid. Muslims. Mexicans. Immigrants, people of color, member of the LGBTQ community. The poor. Women. We have reason to fear, because now we have a homophobic, sexist, racist president with possible ties to Russia; we now have a president who wants to repeal Roe V. Wade, and who has called women "pigs" and has bragged about sexually assaulting women. He wants to "build a wall" that would be basically impossible to complete. He has little to no experience and acts like (in the words of Jon Stewart) a man-baby both online and in real life.
America has chosen hate, and I am so ashamed.

I'm most worried about the economic fallout if Trump discards NAFTA, and the likelihood that the Paris agreements will now be in serious jeopardy.

The problem for the incoming President will be trying to fulfill the promises he made to his base. They've spent years hating the establishment, and now that their candidate of choice IS the establishment, it will not be so simple to change that mindset, especially as years drag on and all of their perceived problems aren't miraculously solved.
Heck, he has talked about dismantling NATO. And bankrupting the US. And forcing other countries to pay what essentially amounts to protection money.

Not really sure how much even matters, if the US doesn't stick to any of its environmental commitments we might just be doomed anyway. Sucks that not even 60 million people can screw things over for the rest of us.

Well that's awkward. It looks like Hillary won the popular vote.

Anyway, Trump hasn't talked in depth about forcing countries to pay NATO dues or bankrupting America. Those were mostly off-the-cuff unguarded statements. While it speaks to a worrying policy inexperience, these are things he'd be strongly advised against or outright prevented from doing. Kiboshing NAFTA, however, has been a staple of his message on the economy, and the environmental policy of the Republican Party has always been terrible (or non-existent).

I can't believe how many people in america look at a steaming pile of racist cabbage and think 'Why, yes, what an excellent president!'.
Seriously disappointed and angry about that outcome.

I don't really have the words. Still a bit in shock. I said this was going to happen a few months ago, but now it has I still find myself astounded.

Oh yay, you guys have been discussing this already.
Same, I was following the polls so closely last night. I don't know what to say. I'm not shocked, I guess we all knew it was coming.
I'm seriously hoping all those strong statements were just bluffs to get votes and popularity or I'm getting out of here.
I really miss Obama now, he was the only president I knew and whose election I watched as a kid; I was too young to remember Bush.

I was also a bit surprised to find which states went for Trump so quickly. Ohio and Florida were supposed to be so close. They ended up being called before states like Georgia. Hell, it's the day after here in North America and they haven't even called Alaska.

I've been to Alaska.

It's conservative through and through.
