I was a Kitty-sympathizer after Golem's eye. I think it was the description of her clothing in PGate that put me off. (Barty commented on her stylish outfit, and I thought indignantly 'No one should be more stylish than Jane!' I'm mad, yes) Other than that really shallow part, I think Stroud went too far with describing her heroics, to the point of Mary Suism. Golem's Eye had the best characterization.

GE was the best. And I think Barti was just biased. That's the only explanation.

One of my favorite parts in the whole trilogy was when Bart and Nat are together and they see Mwamba, then there is a footnote on her, talking about her guise, but it is interrupted by Nat...

The foot note kinda confused me at first I was like huh? But then I looked up and saw the sentence after the footnote.
