Shippers aren't scary, they're your friends. They just want to share their beliefs with you, and they'd appreciate it if you joined them.

Yeah, I've read the mugglenet wall of shame. Wow, they now hate the author who made up the characters that they're shipping? And ignoring the fact that it's HER book? The Draco/Ginny ship. It's not "ugh!"

It's called Fire and Ice after the poem by Robert Frost, and because Ginny's hair, and the way she acts is like Fire and Draco's like Ice. It's way better name then Dramione.

It's a really good ship though, the fanfiction/fanart is really good.

To tell you the truth, I tried to get into Draco/Ginny at one point...long time ago. I read their fanfiction...all of them crap. Well except for one, but I don't think the author's going to update anymore.

The fanart Luciene digs up is pretty good though.

Nope, there's some really good fanfic authors for DG, like Cassy Claire (she just finished the Draco Trilogy, which starts D/Hr, but she left fictionalley 3 weeks ago, never to return)

There's also Aduro (read The Code) and Heart's Cadence.

I read a few chapters of that Cassie fic. I never got into the story.

Let's see...who's the Draco/Ginny fanfic author godess? We'll compare it to the Draco/Hermione, and see who's talents are better.

I sometimes read fanfics, it's so hard to find good ones. A lot of Draco/Ginny ones are crap though. Not that I ship, it's just fun to read them! Even if I did ship I probably wouldnt't support Draco/Hermionie or Ginny, mostly because it would never happen, and because I think those two girls deserve better! I once read a Barti fic that was Ptolemy/Nat (don't ask how they even ended up in the same timeline, the writing was SO bad that I couldn't understand half of the damn thing.) It scared the Hell oughta me!

Most fanfics are crap, because too many authors are afraid or unwilling to use beta-readers and accept criticism. That's no reason to say that the ideas are inherently bad.
