What the hell's with the Eco Left/right n all that...

So horribly confused...

Burma: 77,738 dead, possibly 120k or more, with a quote of 300 thousand.
Ten Billion in damage.

Earthquake: 51,151 dead, 288,431 injured. something like thirty thousand missing.
So far, easily 120 billion in damage.

Um, the British colonialists derived "burma" from the name the locals had for it, myanmar is closer to the local language. Small wonder why the Brits are clinging on to Burma?

'Myanmar' is what the current regime has adopted...
Official death toll at 77k and change, but CNN called it at least 130,000...

China's stated the quake to be 8.0 and 8.3, while the USGS puts it at 7.9...
