It doesn't even work as self-help, it makes you seem even more delusional and crazy.

For those of us unenlightened, what is The Secret?

The actual secret? You have to believe it will happen, if you focus on it, the universe (which apparently is an aladdin style genie) will read your thoughts and give it to you.

And they encourage it's use for those important things in life, like jewellery and promotions...

u gottah think positive and not in the least be dubious about it and it sure will happen..YOu cant go like "ya im thinking positive and this IS going to happen..uhh but what if it does'nt?it is'nt possible anyway" puff..its gone..u cannot doubt your though at all.oh.and you gottah expect.Expect that your thoughts gonna work and it'll happen.it works for everything.Money,luck,love,etc.

this lady.she couldnt find the right guy.to marry i mean.and this lady had read the secret and thought that she was folowing every single bit of it that would help her find the right man. but it dint happen..she waited for years but no guy.then she finally realised.she had thought positive and everything but she had not learnt to expect. she started sleeping on 1 side of her huge bed,leaving space for her upcoming husband.she started parking her car outside the garage leaving it for her husband's car. she emptied her wardrobe onto 1 side leaving the other for her man..sure enough,after a few months she met her mr. right and both of them got married etc.
