Yeah, it is really lonely here.... :-/ I think FuzzyLobster might be the only other one posting. I wonder what happened to bookworm?
I finished Captain America TFA yesterday!!!! :'( :'( It's a good thing I've already watched TWS or I would have broken down :'(
I saw the trailer for Deadpool. The style of the trailer seems so different, not like usual Marvel trailers. Yeah, I could tell the rating just from the trailer :)
I have watched: Iron Man 1, Thor, (and glimpses of the Dark World), CA 1 and 2, and parts of 3, and both Avengers movies.
Ooooh, Sherlock!!!! :gladstone: My favorite was The Sign of Three. Have you watched the Abominable Bride?

Yeah I watched TAB and it was glorious! John that is not how you sign language

I just noticed that The Winter Soldier and The Whispering Skull have the same initials...now I want a crossover

I haven't gotten into any television series before (except for a somewhat brief anime phase...) but shows like Sherlock, Supernatural, etc. all seem pretty good. And especially Game of Thrones. (Wonder if I'll still be flipping through fantasy books (or whatever technology becomes the norm) when I can do nothing but sit in an old rocking chair with a ball of yarn.)
But I'm afraid to start for fear of being sucked into an inescapable black hole where all homework is neglected.

On the note of movies, still haven't seen Theory of Everything yet which is definitely high on my list, along with The Hobbit (of course), and Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them (don't kill me). And there's some new movie coming out called Nerve that is very not-fantasy but looks like it might be good.
Signatures are for triangles.

Um...too young :D Lol, yes that was hilarious!!! And sort of confusing.
And wow, I noticed that too! Hmmm... I wonder how it would work out :)

Hi Perenutet!! I haven't seen you here, though you've clearly been here longer than me :)
Oooh, I love anime!!! Which ones have you watched?
Oh, don't worry; it's a happy black hole ;)
Same here! I want to watch the Hobbit, and I can't wait for Fantastic Beasts to come out. Apparently there's an American version of Hogwarts called Ilvermory; I can't wait to see that!

Let the quoteception begin.

Wow, I started here three years ago....still not nearly as old as some members, but it's enough to make me feel ever so slightly like an ol' geezer. Speaking of which, I don't recall being very active here since about two years ago, so it's good to be back- and to see signs of life again!

I just saw your post about anime in the other thread- unfortunately, I never got around to FMA (though the music itself sounds incredible). I've watched quite a few, but my favorites are probably Madoka Magica....whatever its full title is (the deeper you get into that one, the better it gets- if no one has warned you to not judge PMMM by its cover, I'm telling you now) Zankyou no Terror, Psycho-Pass, and a few others. Do you read manga, as well?
Yep, been hearing about Ilvermory. Apparently it has four houses too; wonder how they sort students in the American school.
Signatures are for triangles.
If you ever do, watch FMA brotherhood, not FMA. It's got really beautiful and clear animation, and it follows the manga storyline a lot better. And it has amazing openings...especially 1, 4, and 5. :gladstone: this needs a swooning emoticon.
But I could go on about that forever.
The name Psyco-Pass sounds familiar, but I haven't heard of the others. I'll definitely check them out! I've been searching for some new good animes.
Yes, I do!!! I first read Fruits Basket, which is my favorite shojo (and the only one...), and then I got into shounen, which I like a lot more. My favorite mangas are FMA and Black Butler.
Yeah, the four houses are Wampus(Gryffindor), Pukwudgie(Hufflepuff), Horned Serpent(Slytherin), and Thunderbird(Ravenclaw).

Hey Perenutet, welcome back! Who're you calling an old geezer, you're like a month older than me!

Even if ebooks were all that was left in the future, I would still want printed books. It's my life's dream to be able to afford all the books I have on my kindle in paper. I'm aiming for millionaire.

W ha t why would the american magical school system be exactly like the british one but with different names for houses. Also I dare the founders to be called Pukwudgie amd Wampus. I. Dare. Them.

It's been a while, evillaugh! And yep, as much as I admire fancy gadgets, reading is one thing I think I'll always want to do traditionally.

And Kittycat, I'll keep that in mind- I'm always confused as to whether I should go with originals or reboots. Thanks for clearing that up about FMAB!

I agree, there's just something about reading actual books that's better.
You're welcome!! Always a pleasure to tell someone about the merits of the FMA world in general :D And possibly annoy them to death as well...

Yep. Great film.

A still more glorious dawn awaits, not a sunrise, but a galaxy rise, a morning filled with 400 billion suns - the rising of the Milky Way
Ahhhh I absolutely loved Zootopia. Nick, Judy, and Clawhauser. Best characters. Especially Nick.
And it was pretty deep as well, gave a great lesson on how minorities are treated sometimes and how they shouldn't be. I hope there's a well-done sequel: they have a high standard to live up to.
So any Marvel fans here see Doctor Strange yet?
