I've heard that it's scientific accuracy is not exactly 2001: A Space Odyssey. But then movies are not documentaries.

It's amazing! You should watch it.

... I fell slightly ashamed that I don't know a fraction of the movies you're talking about...:(

Shame on you for not going to the cinema enough, you monster!
This is about to get furious!

I haven't gone to the cinema in, oh...2 years...

Wow. Even I am surprised by that.

Watched Forrest Gump today (for like the 50th time), damn I nearly bawled my eyes out, that is seriously the most beautiful movie I've ever seen in my life.

Awwww. Not my thing, but I kind of love it when movies have so much of an effect on people. (does that sound weird?)

Soooo apparently J.J. Abrams has taken over the writing of the Star Wars sequel. I don't care that he's got the writer of Raiders there to help him, or that Disney has a lot invested in this movie succeeding; I'm calling ruined forever. :P

I really liked the movie! But if you have nightmares about dying in space, you probably shouldn't watch it. :P

Chris Hadfield is the greatest.

As long as there's not too much to aggravate my claustrophobia I might be alright. I might want to wait for the DVD though.

If you are able to intelligently hold some suspension of disbelief, I think you'll find it very enjoyable.
Booked tickets for Catching Fire too!
I wonder why The Book Thief hasn't released in my city yet. :(

It was a good film. Absolutely gorgeous, for sure. I wasn't massively impressed by the story, but that was partly my inner physicist shouting "orbital rendezvous don't work like thaaaaat!" the entire time.

A whole bunch of my faves and that Lorde girl collaborated on the soundtrack and it's amazing.

I'm so impressed because the first movie's soundtrack was a POS.

=(

Some books I think would be best adapted into a series/miniseries.
