We've bought the original trilogy on Blu-Ray in prep... Damn, it's so stylish.

Can't see the movie 'till Sunday though; math exam nonsense.

I saw it. I really liked it! Not as great as the LOR trilogy movies, but still excellent. :D
The 3D was great.

No. I'm not rushing either.

I don't know why... I'm excited to immerse myself in the world of middle earth, but somehow, this movie.. feels like a lot of work.

Might be I don't have the right type of geek to go with.

I know all the right type of geeks. And that's why I'm not a rush. Maybe we're exact opposites in that regard then. =P

Buy me a plane ticket and I'll be right there.

And what would your excuse be for going to see it a third time? In a different country, no less.

I'm not complaining, but one of the dwarves looks like zachary quinto and ian somerhalder had a love child. My friends and I spent the whole movie whispering "protect the pretty one!" at the screen

And that orc and Thorin kept gazing into each others eyes and running toward each other in slow motion, if they were the same species, they'd have such an epic bromance.

You mean this guy? :$ Go watch Being Human, you won't regret it.

People, I still haven't seen it. :'( This is unacceptable but all my geeky friends are socially awkward/ out of town, and my sister doesn't want to see it so my family won't go. I have a sad life.

There are entirely too many people who haven't seen the Hobbit here. Someone hijack an airliner and round everybody up so we can all go see it.

That's a really unflattering profile pic, compared to his glorious mane of hair and perfectly arranged facial scruff in the hobbit.

The goblin king's dangling chin/neck thing was completely unnecessary. :X

Let's do it. Or we wait 'till next year and hijack it to New Zealand for the Desolation of Smaug premiere. ;)

Oh, that's a good idea! Then we can have a holiday in NZ too, 'cos NZ is awesome.

Man, NZ won't know what hit 'em when we all show up.

If it makes you feel better I haven't seen it yet either. :/
But I'm glad to hear it's positively favored.
