We were protecting ourselves. Given the scattershot quality and wildly varying tone of the various movies leading up to Avengers, it could have gone so horribly wrong. But it didn't, so that was good. I didn't get to seeing it in the theatres, but I watched it recently (totally legally of course), just after I'd seen TDKR.FuzzyLobster wrote:Oh so you actually saw The Avengers then?
