Uh there was a slight thread mix up, and now Nero is responding to something that isn't there. The repost:

Saw some movies yesterday. The rundown:
Princess and the Frog was awesome. *is a complete animation dork* Animated really well, had great music, good story. Plus I haven't seen a traditionally animated movie in theatres in about 8 years so... yeah.

Got there late though, and missed at least the first ten minutes, possibly twenty. Anybody know any good pirated movie sites? Hey I bought a ticket so it's okay, right?
New Moon was complete trash. I mean, they did a fairly good job considering what they had to work with, and at least the wolves didn't look completely ridiculous (I could never imagine giant wolves without bursting into laughter) but just... ugh. And the narm... I went into it thinking I could at least get a good laugh out of it, but the whole movie ended up just making me kind of mad. And apparently it was voted the
best movie of the year.
*facepalm*
Sherlock Holmes was pretty cool. Not amazing, but a good movie. A different interpretation to be sure, but not unrecognizable. C'mon guys, he's the most frequently portrayed movie character, I think by this point there is a little room for liberties. And New Moon demostrated why following the source material almost exactly is not always the best way of approaching your movie.
Whoa that's... quite a bit more then I originally intended to write. :D
