Well, they probably brought it back into theatres when it got nominated for an Oscar, they usually do that.

I haven't seen Avatar yet, either. Should probably go in order to gawp at the 3D before it leaves cinemas.
(There are probably more awesome movies due out later, but I don't really keep up with upcoming movies.)

Oh, and: Bartimaeus movie. We can dream...
They're coming out with 3D television and 3D DVDs etc.

Er... Blu-Ray, not DVD.
CES was a wash with 3D everything.
It'll be like HD, however, wait a couple years before anything notable in the way of market share comes along.

I know that, but a TV's never going to be as impressive as a full-sized cinema screen, and I'm not likely to own a 3D TV any time soon anyway.

Ditto on both points.
My main issues: Headaches and dim screens.
The 3D glasses invariably result in a slightly dimmer screen.
