Can you imagine e-suicidebomber mini btfers, running around Twimom forums screaming "Death to the infidels vampires?" it would be beautiful.
And then there will be a war in which Edward Cullen as president will proclaim that the Twilight Community must invade us in order to knock down the oppressive Bartimaeus fandom where much of the fandom supported the downer ending. ("That's right. The main protagonist, Nathaniel, who we have on good evidence was very *hawt* dies at the end. And that's not all: he never had any romances with anybody. Not Kitty. Not Jane. Nobody. This is an abomination that must be stopped.") But of course most people can see through all the BS and know what Edward and co. really want is to invade Stroud and suck his rich creative power and his successful ability to make people laugh and not cringe when attempting humor and hope that Meyer will be able to channel his writing skills one day.

(Mwahaha, I dare you top that one Lucy. :D)

Zombieland was hilarious, apparently. Haven't yet seen it myself.

Saw Star Trek and District 9. Hooray for pirated movies. They were good, better than I'd expected.

We've got Zombieland too, but it's reeeaaallly fuzzy, I may not bother.
Also, anyone got any favourite Halloween movies?

Do you think Avatar will be any good? I think the CGI looks good orgasmic, but the story sounds terrible. Also the moral seems to be about as subtle as getting your face caved in with a sledgehammer.
But that's just me.
What about you?

Watched Watchmen.

It's....interesting...
The sex scene was kinda disturbing. I really don't like that song, even in Shrek (II?)

Heh heh heh. My parents were watching it with my ten-year old sister. From what I heard there was a bit of a mad dash for the remote when that scene came up. My dad had seen it before but forgotten it was there.

Haven't seen Watchmen (might when I eventually get 'round to reading the comic, my library book count is up to 32), but the soundtrack is awesome.

Haha. My parents took me & my sister to watch Titanic when I was 11. My sister was 7 then. I remember them trying to engage us in a dialogue when those sex scenes came up.

Anyone seen Dr Strangelove: or how I learned to stop worrying and love the bomb. Awesome movie, Sellers at his best.
Mindi Jackson , I think I'm in love. Now I just need to get famous.
Saw it only a week ago, believe it or not. It wasn't bad.

some people would proabably find it a bit dated I suppose but one of the all time classics IMO.

Another movie I would recomend is devils advocate purely becasue it show the worlds greatest actor (Al Pacino) in a type of roll people don't really expect him to be able to play and he produces a masterclass.
