A human body is powerless against the effect. Why should that change if the spirit is inside the body?

And more importantly, does Stroud actually care if the details hold up to scrutiny?

Because, Senty, that would mean Makepeace's body would've broken down when Nouda entered, since a human body breaks down quite easy when subjected to this kind of thing.

Only if Nouda causes the disruption effect.

He probably does. He *is* a Greater Spirit.

And why should all higher spirits cause it?

Nouda was just getting stronger because he was protected. He was in the height of his form, so he caused some disruption. But Ramuthura was not under such protection, he was just out there exposed on earth.

I'm sure most Greater Spirits don't cause a disruption unless they're REALLY at the height of their form.

And Rammy was not just a greater spirit. Rammy was unlabled to his power, versus Nouda who was just a mere Marid.

Meh.

Nouda wasn't a marid. Mouda was a spirit with the power to destroy Persepolis.

Yes, Phoenix is right, Nouda is a Higher Spirit, just not as powerful as Ramuthra.

We don't know that. We don't know how much of Nouda's power was supressed inside his human body.

You still haven't been able to answer how a mere human body could supress power... if anything it strengthens it by freeing the spirit from its essence degenerating as it spends time on this plane.

We were never actually told what type of spirit Nouda was. I thought he was a Marid, because he wasn't disrupting the planes like Rammy was, but then I thought he might be just a bit higher than Marid, but not as high as Rammy.

I know the night is not as it would seem,
I must believe in something,
So I'll make myself believe it,
That this night will never go.

Yet you need time to train the body. It took Faquarl weeks. You think Nouda had full access to his powers in a few hours, at most?

Exactly. You don't need to be able to control a human digestive system to throw detonations at people.

Yeah, you're probably right about that. I still don't see exactly how this puts him inferior to Ramuthra, since we never saw Ramuthra's full power.

Yeah I have a feeling it's like moving a piano. People have tried to do it alone and regretted it but when they do it with a friend :love2: their backs are spared!
