Hmmmm... Rs 100 Per DVD, Which translates to Oblivion for $2

Which means the developers are losing about $9.70 per copy (very rough calculation of the devs' share of the total price)...

Hah! As if the developers get more than a tiny fraction of the price. Most of it goes to the publishers and retailers. They can lose their money. It's the people who actually makes the games not getting any which bothers me.

This is Delhi, Retailers do not exist; most depend on greeting card or such for the main source of income. Piracy accounts of 98% of all CD sales. And it will never be wiped off (The main Bazaars are .5 Km from a CRPF Barracks (Rajputana Rifles, Gurka Regimentals, Distinguished in three wars and one civil war blah, blah, ablh ect not to mention has it's own internal Police station)

Of course piracy will never be wiped out. Especially with modern copy protection systems like Star F***ing Force - that is, Starforce, which cause the legitimate user so many problems it's tempting just to buy a pirate version to get shot of it.
Pirate copies are starting to have disadvantages, though, with patches unavailable to unregistered users for some products, etc.
Maybe Vista will get rid of some of it, with the built in DRM. More likely to make it all five hundred times worse for legitimate users, though... *sigh*

I doubt either of them will have TV Shows.

And if they do, they'll stink.

The tv shows would be lousy.

It could be better than the movie if they do it rite, 'cause they can go into more detail. They won't have to skip parts.
