Because 25 Dec is 31 Oct.
:P

One atom turns to another and says "I think I've lost an electron!"
The other says "Are you sure?"
"Yes!" says the first. "I'm positive!"

*laughs* That one was good...

I remember one from the first book:

"I mean, your obsessed with revenge already, and your only like six."
"Twelve."
"Same difference."

Probably someone has already mentioned this (don't have time to go thru all the post).
My fav sentence (actually the only one I happen to remember now), is when Bart enters Nat's body & they happen to be communicating pretty well in monosyllables using words like left, right, duck etc. In the footnote Bart stated that the latter was an observation he made in the lake & Nat unfortunately took it has a command which resulted in their temporary immersion (cool, I recalled the whole sentence, which I daresay is correct).

Though technicaly not an insult, do I remember correctly a time when Barty was going off one of his long footnotes into the past when Natty told him to get his mind back on track? Or did I make it up? :hmm:

Of course, then you must wonder what dear Natty would have said to counter that. I would place my bet on him stomping his foot and leaving in a huff.
