But silver kills all spirits, even marids and afrits. It's not his strength, its the silver's.

Well, silver weakens them.

It doesn't kill them totally, it depends on the amount and the time the djinni is totured with the silver.

I think i would prefer to use a Djinn over an Afrit because Afrits seem to be more dense than Djinn..

Bart survived three hours in his weakened state. Admittedly, the soup was in between him and the bowl.

That afrits are denser is a generalization. Djinni can be dense too, look at Jabor.

We are just predjuiced toward djinn because the story is from Bart's point of view.
