God is said to be the first clause, the reason why anything happens.

But the point is: Did God create us? Or did we Create god?

We can create gods, but who else could do the miracles that God did?
Phaos Mouler
We are gods children, so therefore god created us. :) maybe with the help of a godess, who knows? You cant prove anything, if you could, everyone would be religous or aethets.

Intelligent design is an alternative veiw on evolution, it wants to prove empirically that evolution is the work of god and the Earth and everything in it was created by intelligent beings.

No. Wisdom is always personified as a woman. Many of Jesus' followers were woman. He stood up for them in a male dominated culture. His first disciple was a woman. The fisrt person who he saw after he rose again was a woman.

There's more, but I'm too lazy to type it out.

never
heard of it, mind explaing it?
k, I cant remember what its called (obviouly not inteligent design) but
basicly what I beleive is god directs nature. He can tell it what to
do, and over time it does what he says. The cells in an animal change.
example. God didnt just say "ill destroy this city today", he sets the
wheels in motion eons earlier so that it can happen at the exact right
time.

edit: as a church we dont beleive in a godess, but we beleive that there COULD be one, that god doesnt mention her cause he doesnt want us to use her name in vain like we use his.

Eve was created from Adam's rib.

Woman are temptations of the devil.

Priests can only be male.

Intelligent design tries to find proof of this. You know what? They've been unsuccessful. To the Scientific Method, their a joke.

adam was a prototype....

Preists can only be male because only males can have the presithood. But woman are the only ones that an have kids. Its kind of a trade off.

1. The bible's a metaphor remember?

2. where does it say that women are temptations of the devil? Men can do the same.

3. Priest are male, because of tradition. It goes way back to the Jewish Levites. It's not because they're better at it or anything. Women are nuns. They dedicate their lives to God, just like priests.

No, I think 2 of the rivers that were near the Garden of Eden in the bible exist today.
Phaos Mouler
really? then where was the garden of eden suupsoe to be?

if that sounds rude, its not suppose to be, I really am just curious on your opinion.

Iran or Iraq. I can't remember. The bible mention the rivers, Euphrates and Tigris, and they exist today in one of those countries.

And the interesting thing, is that area is really fertile and there's a lot of plants around. Probably because of the rivers.

Edit: It's Iraq. (The irony :D )
Phaos Mouler
fertile
cresent you mean? hmmm...I guess it is possible. But just because the
rivers are named that doesnt mean that thats their original names, and
they wernt jsut named after the rivers.
and shouldnt the place where the garden was be like desolate and
deserty? I actaully think that one of the deserts in the world is where
the garden was. or maybe a swamp or under sea.

At the end of the day, you can't prove God exists.

You can prove Micro-Eolvution conclusively. Theres a hell of a lot of evidence to support Macro-Evolution. I am willing to follow that. IMO, we don't need God.

Of course, I also stongly believe that those who have the ability, have the responsibility. God has the ability, he therefore has the responsibility. yet he does nothing. That can't be justified from where I am.
