So, what can djinn, afrits, imps, marids etc etc be collectively called together? Demon was for the whole lot but since that is offensive, can they be called 'beings from the Other Place'?

I think that Bartimaeus loved both Nathaniel and Ptomley equally. If you read the last paragraph it proves that Bartimaeus really did like Nathaniel. They were really close. Like family.

Anyways, to N&B, I use Spirits, Beings, and Enteties [sp].
That's what I use to collectively address them.
Anyone else have anything more?

If I was a djinni, I would prefer enterties (sp). And then spirits (don't know why, enterties seemed more noble) and then beings. That sounds too close to human. I wouldn't like that if I was a djinni.
