I think Bart loves Nat coz he didn't tell everybody else about Nat's birth name (well, he almost told kitty) and saved Nat's life few times. Even if the orders that made him do that but he didn't try any trick to break the orders (like what Demon usually does)

I don't think Barty loves Nat, but he was certainly warming up to him. Love is a bit of a strong word. He definitely liked Ptolemy more, as he treated him like an equal always. Unfortunately I can't say the same thing about Nat.
