That comment was mainly for Luciene.

Back on topic....

Ptolemy had to die, but Nat didn't. Come to think.

"You belong in Gryffindor,
where dwell the brave at heart,
Their daring, nerve and chivalry
set Gryffindors apart."

Nathaniel didn't have to die, but it ended the trilogy like THAT. Clearly said in a stern tone of voice "No more books with that guy in it".

It was a nice wrapup, even if I'm not happy about it. >_>

Question One: You would describe yourself as:

a - A Eunuch
b - A white-skinned Necromancer who can muster armies with the stamp of a foot and sweep the rightful pharoahs into the sea
c - A seeker of knowledge
d - Someone who really, really, really hates surveys

Um....let's not go there.

Aye I agree with Ianna.
[sarcastic]Why?? Everyone likes surveys!! Especially the crappy Canadian census which is completely useless.[/sarcastic]

Well, back on topic, no I don't think Ptolemy would've survived.

He could've if he'd moved from Alexandria, though.

Yes, but if he had, he probably wouldn't have known what to do with himself. Wouldn't have had anything to do. Well, maybe he could've gone into hiding and found some young magicians to teach. Not the normal stuff, his way.

I know the night is not as it would seem,
I must believe in something,
So I'll make myself believe it,
That this night will never go.

Yes, I know.

But I think his cousin might have hunted him, even then.

He hated him.

Stupid...fat....um....pig.

Eh, he should've faked his own death.

Doubt he would have agreed to that.

He could have summoned all of his djinn and casually mentioned how little he would care if his cousin "had a tragic accident" or two.

But he wouldn't do that.

He's not the type of person to kill for his own protection.

I didn't mean that he would kill someone else, he could've just had a djinn take his form and fall off a cliff. They would've burried the djinn (if they found it) but the djinn would be fine. Although he wouldn't have ever wanted to leave Alexandria.

Yes, but he seems to honest for that.

Don't know why, but Ptolemy seems almost perfect.

Well at least he was too stubborn. And he was mad at the people who kept lining up outside his doors.
