Well there is truth in what you say but you too do that way too often. Like now.

I don't go through a page and a half.
You do.
If I've posted, and it dies after my post, I don't double to raise it.

I do it when the topic seems dead or when nobody has answered. Anyway, I will try not to do it again.
A question ( & I hav'nt asked this before)- can Ramuthra be summoned by a single person? If not, what's the minimum no. of people required? 4?

I'd say 3 exceptionally strong wizards might be able to summon him.

Magicians, idiot.
"A strong magician can summon an Afrit on his own, while most Marids require two.
I estimated this at a minimum of four."

'This' means Ramuthra, right?

Indeed more cynical.
Yeah, Bart says four minimum, and I believe four were used- Lovelace, Shylar, Lime, and Makepeace.
Plus they had to use the horn to keep control. Or whatever they used the horn for. Nouda didn't require one. I had the impression that he was perhaps midway between Ramuthra and a marid.
We didn't see any marids in the book. That's odd.

well most magicians don't find the need for marids; a bunch of djinn and afrits would be easier than a marid.
Hi, I'm new

Anywho, it's a tough one to call seeing as we didn't see (read?) Nouda is his raw form, he was just compressed into the body of Makepeace. If he'd just been summoned naturally we don't know what form he would have taken or what effect his essence would have had on his surroundings (ala Ramuthra's warping effect).

Also, Bart tells us that Nouda can lay waste to entire continents, but he didn't know anything about Ram's history, so we don't really know anything of his potential other than the fleeting devastation he caused at Heddleham hall.

I'd vote for Ram due to his whole dimension warping, plane blurring, magical immunity and his general ability to cause a bit of a scene, but for brute strength and power, Nouda would win.

Kthxbuy! :gladstone:

ramurtha had a big rift :wow: , but also nauda was trapped (to some degree) inside makepeace's body (poor nauda :gladstone: ) so I don't know if we could have seen any rift. Besides, Barti's reaction of uhohness seemed bigger with nauda. But i could be wrong... :new:

Well, as far as i know (which is very VERY limited) :lol2: there's no limit to a magician's power, no stopping point at which his abilities can go no further. So I suppose it is possible for a single extreemly powerful magician to summon Ram on their own (ei: a thirteenth level magician who deserves a higher rank)

No....

I doesn't matter what knowledge the magician knows. It's his strength to control Ramuthra. Even if he had worked out seven hours a day (though that would probably kill the magician instead of boosting their stamina), Ramuthra would overcome his single master.

Ramuthra. Nouda doesn't have a rift following him.

I wonder, would a golem counteract demon magic when the demon is incased in a body??? Because Honorious died, but he was only encased in bones.
lmao, niceo one. Ditto. Guys i think that somewhere in the trilogy it mentions Ramthura being more powerful..
I retracted my wing briefly, held the boy so he had a quick view of the square.
"Take a look," I said. "Which house do you think has the thinnest walls?"

For a moment, he was uncomprehending. Then his eyes widened. "You're
not---"

"That one? With the pink shutters? Yes, maybe you're right. Well, let's see..."

I do believe you answered you own question, Ben.
Honorious was safe and very rigidly encased within the late Gladstone's bones, and look what happened to him.
