How can you be sure that dying inquires the end of one's spirit. Perhaps it is freeed of the body it is born in and remelted in the OP.

Nat in the Other Place? Ooh, won't Barty just love that. Just to make my point clear, I currently kinda ship J/J. They deserve each other's horrible-ness. But just as long as Nat can go free.

Mr. B wrote: Ok. It's obvious Nathanial dies in the final book. (Sorry if u didn't know that!) But, if he had the chance to come back, would he? What for? Would YOU want him back? :hmm:
NO. NO. no. no. no.
the end is perfect just as it is :D

I think so too. Rest In Peace Natty!
Now in death we can remember him as a hero, instead of a snotty precocius kid or a corrupted minister.

and think of him as nat, not mandrake.

yeah, but his last words were not very nat-a-like. actually i was shocked.

but the end remains perfect. :D

The "good servant" line? Yep, only John could say that, but it was Nat who set Barty free. Did Nat know that Ptolemy did the exact same thing?
Notice I say "Rest in peace Nat, cause I think John should rot in the firery pits.

but ptolemy set bart free because he didn't want him to die for him, and nat (john actually) because he was afraid bart will ruin everything. so i don't think john knew that ptolemy did the same thing, and that would probably mean nothing to him because he was very 'mandrake' his last few months.
