What If He Could?

Ok. It's obvious Nathanial dies in the final book. (Sorry if u didn't know that!) But, if he had the chance to come back, would he? What for? Would YOU want him back? :hmm:

I think he might come back to try and live a better life. I don't want him back, personally, because it'd be pointless and impausible.

Impausible? How so?

Well, it depends on how it was done, but I maintain a strict belief that characters can't be resurrected without it being completly stupid and a constructed plot point by an author.

Especially in Bart's world.

*Impossible*

I agree. Stroud could find some super-genious way to bring him back that our minds couldn't possibly comprehend...
I mean, C'mon, he's Stroud.

Well, Christopher Paolini is Paolini and he hasn't found a way to call Eragon Aragorn yet and get away with it so there you go...

I wouldn't want him back. Sorry, bb.
Nothing to see here, move along.

No matter how much I liked Nat it would be worse to read that he is back.
That would be somethin that Paolini would write. Oh I don't have problems with Eragon but Mr. Stroud's books are better. Much better.

You all probably just hate the charactor or simply are sick of the series and want it to end.
It would be kewl if he came back. Like how if barti found some way to bring him back.
The author is really good. He could do it like how it was done in lord of the rings with gandulf.

I can see it now: Nathaniel falling down the pit, and kills the big monster Balrock thing in one hit. Because he's awesome like that. Then, he hits the ground and dies, and comes back as... Nathaniel the White?

Just kidding. Yeah, ressurection might be possible, but I kinda doubt it.

I somehow doubt that it would be thought orginal. I mean C. S. Lewis and Tolkien were really the only ones who got away with that without people complaining.

Excuse me a vast amount of people...

Colfer? When Holly died and time was reversed so it didn't happen.

That's true as well.

But a lot of people, at least who I know personally....thought Holly's death was pointless.

You know I did that on purpose, right? :P
IT seems that my annoyance skills are increasing... :D
My friends do that too. Like refering to LotR as a trilogy on purpose.

back on topic, I would love it if nat came back, because i love him so much, and he had such a sucky life.

but yeah, i agree that bringing him back might be impossible without making it pointless. oh well. why did stroud have to go and kill him in the first place???? ugh.
Stroud rox! And, i liked the end. It made me sad, but it was satisfieing. The only thing I really hated about the end of PG was that it was the final ending of the trilogy that I love.

I think Stroud wrote the end to statisfy himself as author...maybe.

If you understand what I mean, it was the story that he came up with and....I can't explain it.
