But he is a douche-bag! And he likes wolfbitch Farrar.  . Wrong, Mandrake. Just wrong.
Well, after all, they are two different people. And I understand that you don't agree about the Barti part. I just got tired of canon and boring Nat/Kitty. So I moved on to less canon, but less boring too, Nat/Barti.

I want RoS. Naow. I think I'll just order it.

So I'm currently reading Ptolemy's Gate ~ God.
OMG, you so shouldn't do that, you'll be doubly impatient to get the book. :D

ORDER IT! ORDER IT!

haha, yeah, i have to agree with that but it doesn't make me like him anyless :P
Ozy Mouler
Reading V for Vendetta. Over halfway through, and it's coming off as kind of pretentious so far.
Still pretty good! (enjoyed Watchmen more though)

Also rereading the whole trilogy before reading RoS. Still on AoS
though I'm sort of juggling GE at the same time.
After my copy of PG got trashed in the rain, I kept telling myself that I'd get another one
but I realized that it was in pretty bad shape before anyway and that now I didn't need to worry about manhandling it!
... and I am still not done with The Road and American Gods. Bluh attention failure.

ALSO. I like Farrar. I don't think I would have minded Mandrake and her ending up together to be awesomedeadly couple (GIVEN THAT he didn't get his character development and redeem himself, which I definitely would have minded. And Mandrake not redeeming himself would have been impossible from a story-telling/literary standpoint so thus the couple is kind of impossible anyway).
I don't pair characters off on a general principle though
because romance is ick (the speaker is secretly a small child and believes in cooties).
Soul Eater ~ Atsushi Ohkubo.
Scanlation, of course. Spain sucks, mainly because of two reasons:
1. Our president is useless.
2. It takes ages for them to translate awesome books (Bartimaeus trilogy) and mangas.

I admire your Queen and the way she uses her power to get into locker rooms.

Amy Sedaris, David's sister, has a book out: Simple Times: Crafts for Poor People

Her cookbook was hilarious and pretty but I never made anything from it, so I'll probably ask someone to get me this for xmas when I have more time.

Edit: She's Jerry Blank from Strangers with Candy, btw
Dengeki Daisy ~ Kyôsuke Motomi.
Seriously. Why am I reading a Shôjo manga?

Signed Scott Pilgrim Volume 6 - aw yeah

besides Bryan Lee O'Malley, Edgar Wright, the director of the movie, and Ellen Wong, who plays Knives, also signed it.

Cool.

*checks library holds* Still not in. Bah. But it looks like someone else has a hold on Solomon now besides me, that's pretty awesome.

We're going to watch the movie now. Let's see how well it holds up to the rest of the family, my brother loved it.

I hate living in Asia T^T
The book's still not up for grabs yet~ Well, it's listed in the catalouge at least, meaning they're looking out for it?

Starting on Joan Bauer. Read Rules of the Road, Best Foot Forward and Peeled already.
D'you think Kitty likes Hello Kitty?

I don't know, even the managers in the bookshops seem clueless. I mean, they have heard of the book ("You mean, Jonathan Stroud's new book? Yes, it has released in UK. And it will release here too. Soon. But sorry ma'am, I don't know when we will get it" - no one knew. Not even in Oxford book store, which is a UK branch). It makes me frustrated. I know the release date and they don't? That makes me wonder if it will really release on the date Gladstone has put up. Where did you get that date from, Pete?

Haha... I haven't been on here in so long.

Currently, I'm reading Candide for history. It's pretty good actually...like the 18th century version of The Simpsons.

CALVIN AND HOBBES IS BEAST!! Basically, it summed up my whole childhood (without the talking tigers, crazy sled rides, wicked dreams, etc.). But yeah, I love Calvin and Hobbes.

I'm still reading PG. It's taking ages for me to finish it, because I don't want Nat to die.

I'm *still* reading the Algebraist. It is nothing short of brilliant, but is taking ages to finish (mostly because school has made sure that I have very little time to read.)
Bartimaeus: It won't be the only mad thing about if you let this lot go. Check out that one at the end. He's taken the form of a footstool. Weird...but somehow I like his style.
Nathaniel: That is a footstool. No one's using that Pentacle.

Polly sounds good. :welcome:

Still reading Last Chance to See, have to say I like it better than the Hitchhikers books.

The local Coles doesn't have Solomon, but there is a small space beside the BT books that are there. Hmm....
