Is that a good excuse?
Em, no.

READ IT.
=p.

If I find it in a bookshop over here somewhere (you already know about my libraries), I'll try and buy it. But I have a lot on the list to buy. RoS, IC 4 (whenever it releases; should be sometime next year, I reckon), Little Brother, American Gods (I want to try it now; y'all have got me interested), Culture Novels (the villain that Sent described in another post sounded like one brilliant character) and some historical books that I have wanted for a long time.

I though Watchmen was a graphic novel book thing?

Yes, Watchmen is a graphic novel.

Oh, that is good then. I can just go to a bookshop and sit and read it there only. No need to buy.

It's thoroughly disappointing.

It's pretty long - about 360 pages, with some prose sections as well.

Yeah. It's gonna take a few trips to the bookshop to finish it.

Plus most graphic novels you can't just zoom through. You need to take in the graphics and whole setup and everything. Watchmen is especially complex.

heheh, i like your style ;)
I do that to read manga. Especially when it gets to two-digit numbers of volumes

You have to make at least a few trips, I've noticed. Or else they start getting suspicious.

I'd tell you to just watch the movie N&B, but RCB (fun with acronyms!) could probably find I where I lived if he really wanted to. :P

Haha. I'll watch the movies too if I can. And it is not because you are not suggesting it. (In case RCB is listening.)

I got ebook copies of American Gods and Watchmen! :D Luciene sent it to me via a PM. I'll start reading them after I complete GE. Yay!

Oh, thank you. =p I know a friend who completed the whole seventh HP in a bookshop. Took her a few long trips, but it seems nobody got suspicious.

How could I possibly find where you live from some literary suggestions?

She is assuming that if she tells me to just watch the movie, you would be scandalized and would somehow find out where she lives (fb?) and murder her for such a suggestion or something. =p

Just finished Golem's Eye.
And I'm reading Ptolemy's Gate's first page.

Now I fully realize how much I hate that jerk John Mandrake. Like, seriously, Nathaniel could have married Kitty having Bartimaeus as a lover and he could have lived happily ever after. D8. But no, that just couldn't happen.

Started American Gods. So far it has been pretty good but yes, a bit unnerving.
And reading GE in between (i.e. whenever the computer or laptop is not free).

I agree, cept for the barti part, haha . i was dissapointed when Nat died but that doen't mean i didn't like john as well, he made for an interesting character, specially when barti made fun of him :D. well, i agree somewhat... ^_^

(why are we talking as if he's two different people. WTF :-/ :P )

also I am reading...dun-dun-duuuuun...Ring of solomon, again.
Well, yes, it's so much fun when Barti makes fun of him. And thanks to him Nat's got the best character development ever.
But he is a douche-bag! And he likes wolfbitch Farrar.  . Wrong, Mandrake. Just wrong.
Well, after all, they are two different people. And I understand that you don't agree about the Barti part. I just got tired of canon and boring Nat/Kitty. So I moved on to less canon, but less boring too, Nat/Barti.

I want RoS. Naow. I think I'll just order it.

So I'm currently reading Ptolemy's Gate ~ God.
