Me, my dad, and my brother used to. I thought that I should be entitled to read them first having discovered them first and making them read them, but my dad would always take them first (my preteen-self was upset, but my dad's a speed-reader, thankfully). For the last two we just ended up buying dual copies. :D

How can the graphic novel and RoS both come out Nov 2nd

I forgot there was a graphic novel... great, two things to buy on Nov. 2nd >.<
Or at least flip through, I wasn't a huge fan of the Artemis Fowl one.

Hopefully its a mess up and one will come out early

They butchered the character designs but it has my favourite artwork of any graphic novels i've seen and it kept the story going along well.

and artwork trumps character design cause i'm an illustrator so...Yeah, I'm slightly embrassed to say i liked them.

OMG! I can't believe theres no graphic novel release date for britian. *cries* No doubt it'll be somewhere near the ring of solomon date but if its after the american one I'm gonna be annoyed. I hate it when british things go to america first. If it is I'm ordering it off ebay like i did with city of glass.

(PS: american books are huge. so much wasted paper on such huge lettering!)
