Sounds like CIA -Cambala Investigation Agency.
The investigators happen to be teenagers but, yeah, it's cool too.

Anyway, the equivalent in India is RAW- Research and Analysis Wing.

Yes.
The big three, if I may be allowed:
CIA: Central Intelligence Agency
FBI:Federal Bureau of Investigation
NSA:National Security Agency- Under DOD, also known as CSS, Central Security Service.

MI5 is Military Intelligence, Section 5. Counter-Intelligence and Security Service. Roughly equal to KGB during Cold War.
MI6 is Military Intelligence, Section 6. Secret Intelligence Service.

I thought the begining was not so great. the first time i tried to read the begining, i thought that some sort of magician mafia was in the room with nathaniel. It really gave you that imrpession.
I retracted my wing briefly, held the boy so he had a quick view of the square.
"Take a look," I said. "Which house do you think has the thinnest walls?"

For a moment, he was uncomprehending. Then his eyes widened. "You're
not---"

"That one? With the pink shutters? Yes, maybe you're right. Well, let's see..."
