Maybe mildly entertaining?
Knowledge is Power, Power Corrupts, and Corruption Destroys.

Yes. With its hopelessness and stupidity.

I fear Inheritance will never attain so bad it's good status, simply remaining so bad it's horrible.

Inheritance has fallen from good, through bad, through so bad it's good, and plummeted into the abyss beyond.

Right now it's just known as a guilty pleasure.

It's down under So Bad It's Good and So Bad It's Horrible on the same site. Slightly divisive..

Oh, it went under 3 categories already. I guess the film isn't worth watching then...

I'm pretty sure the film resides solely in So Bad It's Horrible.

Oh Yeah.
What a surprise: the sequels won't be made.

I was er...a little surprised when I read that Paolini actually liked the movie. So far I've heard that the movie was really bad.

It was.

My brother (my family's resident Eragon fan) likes to rant about how bad it was (mainly about the missed plot - not so much about the production values). Oddly enough, when we got the DVD he and my sister watched it fifteen times in the first few days.

What a bandwagoner.
I thought you guys would have heard the latest Brisingr news by now. I got the news from Alagaesia about a month ago. Paolini has stated someone in the 3rd book will get pregnant. I dunno whom.

How, exactly? He hates it because he hates it, not because someone else does.

So why has he watched it 15 times the last few days? Or has your sister dragged him along?
That's what has me confused.

He doesn't know any other Inheritance fans though, so the bandwaggon theory is out (though unfortunately, out of the four or so of my friends who've read Eragon, only one thinks it's trash).

The books may not be written very well, but the plot and ideas are great.

Sure, they were the first time round. When Star Wars did them.

It's star wars, only in the past.
