I also disagree with that, no matter what facts are there.

where dwell the brave at heart,
Their daring, nerve and chivalry

Uh, the Greeks were bi/homosexual.

But back on topic....

The Hobbit would probably be rated PG-13.

I think a Hobbit movie is a good idea. The story isn't complete without it. For people who haven't read the books or seen the cartoon, they will be lost without knowing how Bilbo got the ring in the first place and all that good stuff.

Actually, homosexuality was an accepted part of Greek society. In Sparta, middle aged men were expected to carry out relationships with younger men, and could actually get fined if they didn't. Pederasty, or something.
Which is disturbing on so many levels. It's like cultral pedophilia.

Oh, and... hi. :new: *waves*
Great topic for my first post. o_O
Hi Banana. Welcome to Bartiforums. :welcome: Have a welcome cookie. :cookie: Are you a Tolkien fan too?

I like Tolkien ok. Hobbit was good. LOTR can get overdescriptive leik woah, and that sort of thing makes my eye twitch. I admit I didn't read the books until after the films, which is terrible.
I like cookies lots, though. :)
Here, have some more, n00b. :cookie: :cookie: :cookie:

I protest! The term 'n00b' is fallacious and abusive in the extreme! I'm a newbie.

I actually had to tick some of those options...

The wiki confirms newbie and n00bs are the same thing.

No. A n00b is an insulting term for someone who is ignorant. Newb is just new. Hence the name. :o

"Vietnam Vetrans refered to new recruits as newbies."
"Inexprerieced sailors are... often called nubs."

;)
Interesting stuff.

... I think it would probably be better for everyone if I don't ask exactly what is meant by 'inexperienced sailors'.
