Perter Jackson was supposed to make one after he finished King Kong. There was a cartoon version, but it was horrible.

I didn't like it...the song "The greatest adventure" was stuck in my head for weeks. And the elves looked like small trees.

No, I watched The Hobbit, not Lotr. And it was on tv, so I'm not sure who directed it.

Maybe they should make a movie about Gandalf called the Immortal Virgin. :D
And those cartoon Hobbit and LotR movies sucked. I was in denial for weeks when I saw them. :(

Also, though it doesn't protain to the Hobbit excatly, the Lord of the Rings may be rerealsed in theatres in 3-D or something.

The hobbit doesn't need a movie. It's too light hearted and childish... Not like what people watch today. Meh, something on the lines of Disney, perhaps?
