It was pretty good, but not as good as LOTR, Barti, or Black Magician or Age of Five.

Inheritance was more mediocre than HP, that's saying a lot.

Bartimaeus is the best fantasy book out there. Although I'd prefer A good many other non-fantasy fiction over it.

I think I've outgrown it.

You should try and get hold of some of Trudi Canavan's books, Post - more adult fantasy.
