It doesn't look good. Something like 90% of books that have the movie rights bought never get made... Besides Miramax holds the rights to both BT and Artemis Fowl and AF looks like it's farther along (though on the bright side, if it does well the studio would be more likely to make AoS).

Though I don't care much right now, what with so many other good book movies coming out soon (City of Ember, Picture of Dorian Gray, Inkheart...).
