Sweet Dreams

6 a night, in fact.

Even if I don't remember all those, I usually remember 1 or 2

How is that possible?

Well, it depends on how long you sleep for - if you sleep longer you'll get more dream cycles, especially if you doze.

It's difficult to learn, but it is possible, having realised you're dreaming, to feel the dream fading and wake up to write it down. I can't do it reliably.

We can imagine alot of things, but i cannot imagine 'Nothingness'. People say it is darkness or blackness, but that is something...typical question, but what is nothingness...

Well, it would be darkness, due to the complete absence of any light or anything to light.

I get that alot. Just nothing. All black. But sometimes when I wake up from that I get a really scared feeling.

Black is the absence of light.

Black is a color which absorbs all light.

'Nothingness', would be sensary deprivation.

Black isn't a colour, it's the absence of one. How it achieves that (by absorbing all light or there not being any there in the first place) is irrelevant.

somethings wrong sent, you aren't eating right now!

Don't you only dream in light sleep, while your brain is still functioning? Then in deep sleep, your brain.. turns off.. then you dream no more.

It was 1:30. I'd finished lunch by then (school lunch starts at 1, or 12:30 if you've not got a lesson before lunch).

Yes, but it cycles. After a period of deep sleep, you return to the light dream sleep, and back to the deep sleep (though not as deep) and so on.

Black is a color. Darkness is an absence of light.

See? English lessons.

If that be the case, I don't understand why, when you are drawing, painting, or any other means of mixing clolors, they make black. So wouldn't black be too much color, and white.. just white i guess, but darkness would be the absence of light.

Black is a color which absorbs all the colors of the specturm.

White reflects all.

Simple.

Black is the absence of light, as a result of either there being no light or all different wavelengths of light being absorbed. White is a mixture of all wavelengths of light, either because they're all there or they're all reflected. Neither are really a colour, because a colour is a discrete wavelength of light.

Colors are the visible spectrum of light, the colors of the Prism...

'Black' is a material that absorbs light.

That, or tell me my Textbooks lie.

A black material absorbs all light - coloured materials only absorb some wavelengths, reflecting others, thereby giving you a colour.

I thought black and white were tones as they aren't colours
I'm gonna stay outta the color thing....

I woke up this morning, and somehow I just knew I had woken up late. The first word out of my mouth was "Crap!" Before I bolted upright, got my glasses and bolted through the process of getting ready for the morning. Is that an example of light sleep? 'Cause I do that alot and I harly ever remember turning the alarm clock off and falling back to sleep...
