All he talks about is change and I like it in my wallet...ha ha
jokes aside he never says anything he is going change!
Try paying a little attention to him rather than the media hype. For example, the debate a couple of days ago between Obama and Clinton had a lot of explaining exactly what he was going to change, and that's just in the last couple of days.

The plan may be brilliant, but you should really stop and look at the results occasionally.

Obama is the man.

Of course, by saying this, I've become an outcast in my pro-Romney family.

*yay* Go Ianna! Convert your family!!!

For one, Obama was one of the few people who nvr supported the Iraq invasion. As he said in his last debate, he'd be more likely to get them out.

And that means Canada will be more likely to get out of Afghanistan and the gov't will return funding to all the youth programs that I'm in *yay*

Edit:

If you're in a powerful position like that, you're always gonna make someone angry. It's inevitable.

Personally, I think the world has truly changed by not helping Afghanistan or Iraq and wanting to pull out. At least try to help their own army get own their feet. But I think Bush does it for his own reasons...
But the Canadian government is losing control and not caring no more...

It's a peacekeeping mission and at least they are trying.

My friend, his grandmother lives there and he said they closed the Tim Horton's already...so i think we moving out in 2009 *crosses fingers*

Yes, well, as my parents are hardcore republicans and my grandmother is racist (think back to before integration) I doubt that'll ever happen.

Obama, unlike Kerry, doesn't flipflop every five seconds. :D

Speaking of Canada, anyone coming up to Winterlude? (Up, as I gather that most of the Kanadians are from Southern ON.)

I think the reason people want to get out of Afghanistan is that Canada isn't doing anything. They ought to and get over with the damn mission.

Afganistan and Iraq are not Peacekeeping missions. It's a 'nation building' mission.

I'm not saying I'm sure he'll be good, or even that it's likely. Just that it might happen.
We'll see.
Hah! He's a politician

Ah, that's funny, Luc.

It's tomorrow. I'm surprised it has come this fast.

don't you have to be a politician to run the country?

I would hope so. Otherwise, you probably entered the race as a bet.

Peacekeeping - Sending in soldiers to make sure two or more groups of armed idiots keep things 'friendly' and hoping they put together a government.

Nation Building - Deciding the armed idiots don't know darn about running a country and sending in the Tanks to teach them how.

Why is net forums always have a liberal crowd?

I don't know. But would you really call me liberal, Post?

I mean, I'm still in the "republican" camp with a few issues. And though admittedly I'd like to go to the Presbyterian church, I go to a Baptist church.

Baptist=no dancing, no gambling, no drinking alcohol, no new opinions.

Well, some of that is an exaggeration...and some of it I agree with (to an extent)

Quasi liberal, Pseudo liberal... Whatever term you like. Still liberal.

I'd say I'm Hard left, so meh.

I prefer the term moderate.
