As I read this thread, a single tear rolls down my pallid cheek. Not a single appearance in the Pacific Northwest, and there's no way in Hades I'll be able to go to the one in California. So. Depressed.

So, Canadian road trip: Why should I plan, I'm the farthest from the border! Also, I don't have a passport. Durn.

I'm not sure yet. My little brother's birthday is the 3rd, and I'm not sure when I'm working next week. I'll find out my hours tonight and let you guys know tomorrow. If this actually happens, it would be majorly cool.
Crap, apparently it takes more than a month to get a passport. So I'm not down. Sorry gais. Have fun if you do go.

Can't believe you guys don't have passports. *shakes head* Eh, don't think I would've been able to go, anyway.

So everybody, get your passports ASAP, start studying for your driver's tests, and save up some money. This is SO on next time Stroud writes a book. ^_^ Should be about 2 years or so. Then we can all go bar-hopping when we get back. :P

The signing starts 12:30 pm, but I need to take a 6-hour bus ride and there aren't any buses between 12:30 AM and 7 AM, and I'd be late if I took the second one.

Hello all,

Just a quick one - many thanks for all your support for the new book! It was great to be able to meet many of you as I zoomed around the US and UK. I love the Forum, and I'm thrilled by your continued enthusiasm for Bart and his world.

Well, I know I shouldn't really be in this thread, so I'll skulk back off to the Submit Your Questions bit, where I belong.
