Some UK appearances by Stroud confirmed

General Discussion
That would be fun, but they would have to be free from school work and all.
See if I get this right. Nero lives near Toronto, RCB in Ottawa and Fuzzy in London. All three of which are in Ontario. And Luciene lives near Nero's place.

Creepy....

But what is really creepy is how close Luciene is to I live. Seriously, I must have seen her at least once.

Soo...I think RCB should organize the whole thing.

So you can't make it to London, but you'll fly to America?

Maybe, I'm that girl who looks in your window and takes pictures of you sleeping but I don't think you notice

I'd go to the New York one next week, who wants to come with me? We'll coach bus it and bring "special" cookies for Stroud!
Sure... If you can get me back in time for my Textiles final...

I'm in TO tomorrow, actually. ROM and terracotta warriors FTW.

I'm not sure how many seats are left, but we'd leave Toronto on Monday night at 9 and arrive 7am and then on Tuesday night we can leave at 7:45 and be back 7am Wednesday morning.

If you're still in Toronto tomorrow let me know, 'cos I probably need to verify that you're not a creepy old man before committing to spending 20hrs on a bus with you and probably vice versa.

Yes, I concur.
It would be so awesome! =D
Please.

I dunno how my parents would be down with this. But if the other two do it, I'll find a way to go with you guys.

And I think Chicago is a better choice, cause the weekend would benefit everyone. Though I wouldn't mind skipping a couple of classes, some things may pop up.

Saturday's not good for me at all =[

I've been trying to convince my friends to come, but it's midterm season and it's such an awkward conversation trying to explain that we'd be in NY for like 12hrs max to visit a bookstore and meet an unknown author. People have been asking me what exactly I was smoking =[
XD

Another problem is that it'd be at least $160 for a round trip, not to mention take about 20 hrs both ways (a coach trip would likely involve transfers. Plus (unless things have changed for the better since I was 12 - unlikely), then Nero can't leave the country without his parents unless they get a lawyer to draw up a letter saying he can...

*rains on parade* Other than that (and my parents - but it would be possible to get friends to cover for me) it sound like it would be awesome.

Unfortunately (it's really nice there) I'm no longer in TO, but if you're looking for vague proof of me not being a creepy old guy :D , I could always send you a link to my facebook page.

Oh well, it would have been wrong for Team Canada to kidnap Stroud before he writes a sequel to RoS anyway
Oh well, it all seemed too good to be true.
Bombard Stroud with letters (under many different names) requesting him to come to Canada.

For me, it's not me parents that are the main obstacles. They are fairly easy to get by.

I'll find out tomorrow if I've got anything during our days of absence.

Hah, the biggest problem my friends would have is: "You're going to New York! For only a day! And you're just going to see an author!?!"

I have things. Mainly a final project critique (and the associated freaking out the night before).
