I really like Queezle and hope she didn't die...but I'm not sure. Maybe she found some way out...It seems very unlikely to me that she just got dissmissed or her master died or something like that. Maybe he just summoned her for a report at the time? But then she would tell him all about the golem, he'd tell everyone about it...I don't know how she could escape. But I deffinatly think Bartimaeus was sad. He was just focusing on how to keep himself alive at the time.

Well, I don't know about the meaning. It seems pretty obvious that djinn and the others can't have children, but I don't know if they love each other... I know he liked her as a friend.

I think he liked Naeryani okay, but not half as much as Queezle. He blew N up so calmly, but he tried to save Q. But then maybe he would still blowup iether one in that case to save her from years of suffering on earth with no way home.
