I like the thought of Queezle with a french accent. It would suit her.

Well I always thought of Queezle with a british accent, but I thought that a french accent suit her as well. I can't really picture Barti with one though...

I always thought of Queezle with a british accent, I just thought a french one would suit her. It don't think it would work well on Barti though...

I'm sure everyone remembers Bartimaeus's old friend from Prague, Queezle. He was rather fond of her, enough to show affection towards her (lighthearted banter, putting his tail around her to reassure her, ect.). But I was rather surprised that, when she died, Bartimaeus mentions once that he wants to avenge her as he's going in to face the golem, and she's never really brought up again. I was rather suprised by this.

I guess I was just wondering if anyone else wondered why Bartimaeus didn't seem upset over her death. Maybe it's just that he'd seen many battles and lost many friends in the past, and got over it quickly. Or maybe he's only pretending that it didn't bother him. We know that when Ptolemy died, he was very upset. (We saw his reaction when Kitty brought it up to him.)

What are your thoughts on it?
Bartimaeus has probably had many Deamon friends over the years, and scince has has been in so many battles, chances are this has happened many times. He's probably used to it by now.

Probably. But I still think that he really liked Queezle.

I really liked Queezle, to state the obvious. She was so sweet...
Look, Queezle.
Yeah, I didn't really belive she had died at first. I thought she would reapear later on but she didn't. I was sad.

Same with me. I thought that Bart would save her.

But, I forgive him anyways.
Look, Queezle.
