Yes, it is impressive. But look at the Romans, and the Macedonians.

They were a large family and very powerful.

The ptolemies ran Egypt to the ground. In the end, they were nothing compared to Rome.

Yep. No one was anything compared to Rome. In fact, they got so ridiculously powerful that the Empire split because it was so big. That's never really happened before. Then all those dinky little barbarion tribes finished off Western Rome, while Byzantine lived...

Rome was amazing, I have to agree.

I really liked France's downfall, though, because of the French Revolution. And then Napoleon came and it flourished until he was defeated...

I'm surprised France is still there.
How did Napoleon die at Waterloo? Hit by some stray bullet, right? Or...was it knocked off his horse by a piece of artillery?

He didn't die at Waterloo, just defeated.

He was once again exiled to an island, where he died.

Ah. I see.

Never really studied Napoleon, so I know nothing about him.

Eh, for a time Napoleon was as reviled as Hitler is today. As Saddam once to a guy who told him he's a Madman and a Murderer "I don't care what you think of me, All I care is what people a thousand years from now think of me."

I suppose that's one way to have people quote you.

Eh, Saladin never cowered in a Bunker, so that's a massive ego dashed.

Is eh your new word?

Back to Queezle, as this is actually the topic, do you think she ever worked in France?

On a bit off topic, do you think Napoleon exsisted in Bart's world?

I think that whether queezle worked in france or not will always remain a mystery.

True.

Unless we ask the author.

Why do you want to know if she worked in France?

Who knows, maybe shes french, and as for Napoleon, i doubt it, at least in his real-world splendor. Going from real-wrold timeline, napoleon was born almost a century before gladstones conquests, but i still dont think so, and even if he did, gladstones "amazing" vistory over the rule would likely overshadow anything napoleon could have done.

Mr. Stroud probably would have described a French accent. she might not have survived the Napoleanic wars if she was in them.

well we do know that she didn't, because bart said how she'd had masters' few and far between, so prague's last stand was likely the first major battle she'd seen in awhile
