Two years. Before that I couldn't speak English - I spoke polish, and TBT isn't published in that language (I think). Then I went to US for a year - that's when me and Bart first met. Now I'm back in Poland, and I bought the books.
Your english is very good! Also, bilingual buddies! (except I speak arabic, not polish, haha)
Can I join the club? I know Spanish and German.
The Bt bilingual club holds meeting every friday.

Yep, and I'm bringing tapas!

For all of you who can't speak polish, here's a ready translation (if that's of any interest to anyone...)
the first person I met on the forums, and the first I will probably ever meet
and evillaugh - pierogi are polish folk food, something like dumplings
they can have different fillings, like meat or fruits.
Er, just translate it directly, or use the 'link' button, it will be much easier.

what's "maultaschen"?
probably something like dumplings too, but it's always nice to learn details about other countries' culture
Maultaschen is a bit like ravioli, with a shell of some type of pasta. I'm guessing dumplings' shells are made of something else.
