Hell, 70% of the trees on my campus are Norway maples, the species is pretty invasive... It's kind of late to be upset now. (I can also tell the difference because I'm an envirosci nerd like that :P )

I didn't even realize that was a link... Having seen it, that's weird.

I don't think those maples specifically are a problem, but invasive species can really wreck an ecosystem (think Europeans/Native Americans style). No natural predators, so they breed like crazy.

You'd probably find more politicians who have smoked pot then ones that haven't. Then again I went to a very stoner-friendly high school so my view might be a little skewed.

We here in Canada are so cynical about politics it's not even funny. That's why only half of eligible adults actually vote.
